Here's a great interview with Jean-Denis Beaudoin of Ayotte Drums in the Montreal Gazette

Undersides of the new 2008 Istanbuls. Use the player below to hear them:
The CAD e100 condenser mic. Absolutely outstanding on almost anything, from vocals to violin, guitars to drums. I use them as overheads on my drumkit after using Shure's flagship KSM32 for years, which are also incredible. The CAD's will cost you substantially less and are taking the music world by storm! Used by MANY pro's.
I recently acquired the Trion 8000 from CAD. Recommended for vocals and especially good to smooth out shrill voices like mine. Have a listen:
The CAD e70 on the lower right. Recommended for acoustic guitar but I use it on hi-hats as well - amazingly smooth!
Protechtor cases - absolutely worth the investment if you're carrying your drums anywhere. I once used blankets and towels!
New Istanbuls came in! A little brighter than my Grand Masters but still that great "breathing" turkish sound. Check out how they sound:
The Mehmet "Legend" 21' ride by Istanbul. Incredible and authentic and easy to control in low volume settings. They really do know how to make cymbals sound like none of the big companies can with mass production.
New 2008 Istanbul cymbals hand-picked at the factory! Use the player below to hear them:
Pearl's awesome new bala cowbells and Steel Jingle Tambourine with Quick Mount. loud but quite musical and both project beautifully to the audience. The new quick mount for tamburines is a fantastic convenience. Your lead singer will like it too if they want something to do during the solo!
May's internal miking system - awesome, provided your drum is in tune!
This is the external XLR attachment for the mic - just plug the cable in and go. Sound people will love you!
Shure in-ear pieces. It still amazes me how few musicians use hearing protection. I use these directly off my mixer for monitoring; essential for when I sing.
