The CAD e100 condenser mic. Absolutely outstanding on
almost anything, from vocals to violin, guitars to
drums. I use them as overheads on my drumkit after
using Shure's flagship KSM32 for years, which
are also incredible. The CAD's will cost you
substantially less and are taking the music world by
storm! Used by MANY pro's.

I recently acquired the Trion 8000 from CAD. Recommended for vocals and especially good to smooth out shrill voices like mine. Have a listen HERE.

Also the e70 on the lower right. Recommended for acoustic guitar but I use it on hi hats as well - amazingly smooth!
